Dominic Lee is the Founder and Group Executive Officer of CMC. He started the business in 1999 with only 2 persons; CMC currently has more than 60 staff. CMC is the only entity in Singapore that offers a suite of integrated revenue management services targeted at improving the operational performance of accounts receivables and payment risks.
Before starting his own business, Dominic was the Country Collections Head of Citibank N.A., Singapore. He was also a Regional Certified Credit Trainer with the Bank. Dominic faced his toughest challenge during the 1998 Asian economic crisis while at Citibank N.A. where his expertise and skills passed the ultimate test - he successfully implemented various strategies and technology to minimize business credit risks caused by delinquent and non-payments.
His Citibank experience has a tremendous impact when he set up his first company : Credit Management Consultancy (Asia) Pte Ltd, where he created Singapore’s most technologically advanced receivables management firm modeled based on world-class best practices. He revolutionized the 3rd party collections industry in Singapore as the first firm to get outsourcing businesses from the banking sectors in Year 2000, in year 2006 the first receivables management firm that is ISO 9001:2008 QMS certified and nominated for the Spirit of Enterprise 2007 award.
He also architected the in-house collections software and develop the software, B.E.S.T. Collections Software, commercially viable for corporate and consumer-based business entities. Dominic also created innovative credit and collections courses which are developed to offer strategic and operational know-how to train executives of all levels. As a Management Consultant, he specializes in credit & collections strategies, accounts receivables operations and debt recovery processes to assist corporations in implementing effective revenue management processes.
Under his leadership, CMC has grown to become a significant niche player in the credit, receivables and collections solutions market place in the region.
